Almighty and Sovereign God,
We come before You with hearts full of reverence and humility, lifting up Governor Gavin Newsom as he faces the immense responsibility of guiding California through the devastating Los Angeles fire crisis. Lord, You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and we acknowledge Your sovereignty over all things, including the leaders You have placed in positions of authority. We pray that You would pour out Your wisdom and understanding upon Governor Newsom as he leads with courage and resolve during this difficult time.
Father, we ask that You grant him the discernment to make wise and timely decisions for the safety and well-being of all those affected by the fires. May Your Holy Spirit guide him in each step he takes, providing him with the clarity and insight needed to navigate the complexities of this crisis. Surround him with wise counsel and skilled advisors who will help him make decisions that are both compassionate and effective.
