A Love Letter To My Dear Friends, Strangers In A Foreign Land
Dearest,
You are seen. You are known. You are deeply loved. Though the world may treat you as a stranger, the One who created you calls you His own. You may feel unseen, unheard, or unwelcome, but the God of heaven and earth walks with you, holds you, and shelters you beneath His wings.
From the beginning, our God has commanded His people to love and protect the stranger:
"You shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the feelings of the stranger, having yourselves been strangers in the land of Egypt." (Exodus 23:9)
Your journey has been one of courage, sacrifice, and hope. You may have left behind the familiar, seeking safety, opportunity, or simply a chance to breathe freely. Know this—your story matters. You are not forgotten. The Holy One, blessed be He, watches over you, just as He watched over Abraham when He called him to journey to an unknown land.
"The Lord watches over the strangers; He upholds the orphan and the widow, but He brings the way of the wicked to ruin." (Psalms 146:9)
If you have faced rejection, injustice, or loneliness, know that our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) understands. He, too, was rejected by many. He, too, had no place to lay His head. Yet He never stopped loving, healing, and embracing those whom the world overlooked. He reminds us:
"I was a stranger, and you welcomed me." (Matthew 25:35)
If you are weary, take heart. If you are afraid, trust in the One who holds all things. If you feel alone, remember that you are part of a greater family—the family of those who seek righteousness and truth. And in this family, love has no borders, no citizenship requirements, no walls that keep you out.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
May you find strength in knowing that you are precious in the eyes of the Most High. May you be surrounded by kindness, protected from harm, and filled with peace. And may your heart always remember that you are not merely a stranger—you are beloved.
With love and blessings,
A Friend Who Sees You
