Prayer Of Repentance For The Sin Of Rebellion
Heavenly Father,
I come before You in humility, acknowledging my sin of rebellion. You are holy and righteous, and I have turned away from Your perfect ways. But in Your mercy, You have given me Jesus, whose blood was poured out for the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:28). Wash me, O God, and cleanse me from all my iniquities, that I may be whiter than snow (Psalm 51:7).
Father, I long for Your name to be glorified in my life and in all the earth. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may walk in obedience and truth, no longer resisting Your voice but yielding to Your perfect will (Ezekiel 36:27). By Your power, subdue every rebellious thought in me, that I may love You with all my heart, soul, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5).
Lord, You have said that whoever believes in Jesus will have rivers of living water flowing from within them (John 7:38). Let Your Spirit overflow in me, transforming me into a vessel of righteousness for Your glory. As I surrender, may others see Your light in me and be drawn to You, that Your Kingdom may expand and Your name be praised among the nations (Isaiah 49:6).
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and grace. I trust in Your mercy and stand on Your promises. In the name of Jesus, my Redeemer and King, I pray.
Amen.
